I am an intermediate/advanced player seeking suggestions for pieces for alto or tenor with organ or piano for church services. I have played a few times and have been asked to play more routinely. I have a reasonable transcription of Jesu Joy of Man’s desiring for tenor and organ, several secular Handel arias for alto and piano and a smattering Bach and other pieces that would work. Also, can play selected movements for Handel sonatas, etc.
I would appreciate suggestions for other options that could easily resonate with the congregation!
