I recently acquired a rather old tenor recorder, which I reckon to be around forty years old, but the condition is pretty good, with only expected wear to the varnish around the mouth end. Joints are threaded, and a little candle wax has done the trick there in tidying them up. It’s an Adler, one key, and the keypad is good.
Only issue is that low notes, C and D, break very easily, and I know it’s not leakage around my fingers or over-blowing. I thought I’d seek opinion here on whether it just needs re-voicing.
Kind regards,
Alex.
