another question: I’ve watched a number of videos and read instructions. My issue is, I can oil the top of the barrel but getting an even coat all the way down seems impossible. However, after leaving one recorder standing upright overnight, it seems the oil has absorbed more deeply into the barrel. Hard to tell. I have two to go.
Moeck recommends using a stiff brush; Mollenhauer,an oiled lint free cloth on a stick.Neither seem to disperse the oil from top to bottom very well. Am I missing something?–Bewildered in Berkeley
