Does anyone have any playing experience on the Mollenhauer Denner Great Bass model #5606. I’m looking to get a great bass and am looking at the Kung Superio Great Bass also. The Mollenhauer catalog states that their Denner Great Bass takes less air to play thus longer passages are possible. I know from playing with people that own and play the Kung Great Bass that it takes quite a bit of air to keep it going. I’m also interested to know if the Mollenhauer is a true two octave instrument and whether it plays all its notes easily. I will be using it as an octave down tenor in our group. Any thoughts and experiences would be appreciated.
