Hello. I would like to know if someone could make a comparison between transitional/early baroque recorders such as Haka or Kynseker and the so called ‘Ganassi’. Which advantages is Ganassi supposed to have over transitional recorders in order to become so popular?
There is lots of info about both of these topics on recorder maker Philippe Bolton’s website (which is very informative about recorders in general). I’ve tried posting a link to it but for some reason that makes this post vanish. He’s easy enough to find though.

Thanks, but I use to look for info in the web before posting to forums. I know that website since quite a long, but my question was aimed to recorder players rather than recorder makers.
