    Mihaela Mack

That sounds beautiful! I had no idea the Aulos tenor can sound that good. But of course it’s probably more a matter of the player than the instrument itself. I once tried an Aulos 211 which is the one without a key and I did not like it at all. Apart from the fact that this is a very advanced player who is technically proficient, do you find that the Aulos 511 is different from the 211? Thanks for sharing this recording.

    Hi Mihaela!
(Sorry my poor English- I hope, you will understand me)
I’ve just bought Aulos 211 because I don’t like how clicking 511’s keys. In my opinion- 511 sounds better but not so much. It’s a bit longer. Both has curved windway. 211 has a different fingering for some notes. I’try to make a recording on 211 next Week.

I find the 211 is a good sounding instrument. Keys or a knick neck would possibly be an improvement but it’s quite playable as is.

You don't stop playing when you get old. You get old when you stop playing.
